After this new week of European Cups, France remains 5th in the UEFA rankings. Good news, but be careful, because the Netherlands are getting closer. The rather mixed results of the French clubs this week (2 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses) prevent Ligue 1 from taking off in the standings, while the Eredivisie had a good week (4 wins, 1 loss).
In the ranking, France therefore currently has 64,950 points, a little more than its direct Dutch competitor, which is at 61,232.
English clubs still dominate this UEFA ranking. England leads with 100.374 points, ahead of second-placed Italy with 88.418. To complete the podium, we find Spain with 82,418 and finally Germany, just above France, with 79,035.
-Over the calendar season, the best performing countries are England, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Belgium, before the final matches of the league phases next week.
