Can we trust Wikipedia? The response is generally positive, the largest online encyclopedia is a source of information for nearly 3.5 million French people every day. But its particularity is that it is collaborative, so anyone can add or remove elements, without them being subject to barriers. At least not with immediate effect.
Wikipedia understands Morata's transfer to OM
This Friday morning is a very concrete example of the malice (childishness some will argue) of those who administer the pages. While the profile of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata was mentioned on social networks with no other substance than finding him interesting for Olympique de Marseille, suddenly things got out of hand. This is followed by articles from the web, then the said page dedicated to the AC Milan striker which “confirms” the transfer.
This is visible in the bio summarizing the player's sporting career, the author(s) did not go so far as to modify the lines of his history with the clubs he attended. It is also not certain that the affirmation will still be visible when you read these lines, it is still visible as we write them.
