According to the L'Équipe website, the English club Brighton has made a first “oral” offer of 23 million euros for the captain of the Ciels et Blancs, Habib Diarra. The current conductor of the Racing Club de Strasbourg would have attracted attention with his exceptional performances this season.
Despite this tempting offer, the Alsatian leaders reportedly refused this proposal, believing that the value of their young player is much higher. They would hope to obtain a larger sum to part with their captain, who is under contract until June 2028.
Diarra, author of a very good season to date, would remain a key element for the Racing Club de Strasbourg. His talents on the pitch and his leadership would continue to be valuable for the Alsatian team.
