A sum of €10 to €12 million will have to be advanced to start next season in National 1 or National 2, according to Ici Gironde.
Listen to Djino Forté's reaction or read his words:
“The hope of finding people to take over”
Djino Forté in the Talk on WebGirondins: “That's a lot of money for the small level we are at, as an amateur. I think it will start to hurt the wallet of the owner and president (businessman Gérard Lopez, Editor's note). If we want to see the positive in it, it’s that we can finish the season, hallelujah. For our little hearts, things will be a little better. Moving forward, the fact that Gérard Lopez has mandated people (an American bank, editor's note) to look for minority or majority partners is also a bit of a positive that I can see. We hope he can find people who will take over.
-For the rest, we must not forget the slump, with all these employees who have lost their jobs (more than 80, Editor's note), the collateral victims, and think of these small companies in the region (creditors) who will not have to wait maybe we pay them some money. The club will not have done what it had to do by not being a responsible actor in relation to its territory.”
