This winter, Olympique de Marseille could well part ways with Elye Wahi, just six months after his arrival from Racing Club de Lens. If Pablo Longoria had closed the door to this possibility last month at a press conference, the former Lensois has been the subject of insistent interest on the part of Eintracht Frankfurt for several days now. We even learned that the operation was close to being completed with an imminent agreement between the three parties. But a twist cannot be ruled out.
OM rebuffs Frankfurt, which does not want to increase its offer!
Indeed, according to information from Florian Plettenberg, OM would have refused an offer for a total package of 20 million euros for their 22-year-old striker. The only problem is that the German club does not intend to increase its offer. An agreement is therefore not yet close to being reached between the two clubs while the winner of the Europa League in 2022 is now reportedly studying other options. The file would not yet be closed but it would therefore have taken lead in the wing.
