Aged 32, Mathew Ryan has a rich career, having played in prestigious clubs such as FC Bruges, Brighton and AZ Alkmaar. Currently a substitute at AS Roma behind Mile Svilar, Ryan has only played one match this season in the Italian Cup. This lack of playing time pushes him to consider leaving to find a starting place.

Seduced by the opportunity to become number one in Lens, Mathew Ryan could quickly sign up with the Artesian club. Talks between Lens and Roma are well underway, although details of the deal have yet to be revealed.
