Last Wednesday, Jean-Michel Aulas spoke about John Textor, expressing his fears about the future of OL. Words which did not greatly please his successor.
We thought the hatchet was buried between Jean-Michel Classes and John Weaver. This is not the case with relationships that have been fresh for a week. Last Wednesday, an interview with the former president of theOL with the media Carré caused a lot of talk. Indeed, Jean-Michel Classes had quite strong and not very positive remarks towards the current owner of theOlympic Lyonnais. John Textor admitted to “was disappointed” comments made by Jean-Michel Classes. John Weaver also did not appreciate Jean-Michel's criticism Classes saying that he did not have much football knowledge. “He said I didn't know much about football, but I kissed some nice trophies in South America, so I must actually not know much about it… He said I wasn't a manager, but I've built several multi-billion companies. Saying that I'm not a good manager, not a good person, that sure doesn't help much. But I do my best with OL, we are well ranked in the league and in the Europa League. We are in the Europa League and we are going to return to the Champions League.”declared the president of OL who argues that his predecessor had the opportunity to buy back the shares of Pathé et IDG Capital even before the sales process.
However, John Weaver do not close the door to reconciliation. “Maybe we'll meet up over a glass of wine with Jean-Michel to talk about this Interview. But he has to put the past behind him”launched the American.
