Young Olympique de Marseille striker Enzo Sternal is expected to join Anderlecht in the coming days. The player, who shone in Gambardella last season, is looking for increased playing time in Belgium.
Trained at the Nancy center before joining OM in the summer of 2022, Enzo Sternal is preparing to turn the page in Marseille, indicates the newspaper l'Equipe this Sunday evening. Under contract with the Marseille club until June 2027, the French U18 international seems seduced by the Anderlecht sporting project, where he hopes to benefit from more playing time. Despite a promising future in Marseille, with two professional appearances this season (in Brest on August 17 and in Montpellier on October 20), the young versatile striker has chosen to prioritize his personal development.

In two and a half years at OM, Enzo Sternal has built a respectable track record. He was notably crowned French U17 champion in 2023 before winning the prestigious Gambardella Cup the following year. At only 18 years old, Sternal now aspires to take a step forward in his young career, in an environment that could offer him more responsibilities.
