Absent from the field for almost two years, Presnel Kimpembe does not yet seem ready to return to competition since Luis Enrique does not call him up with PSG. And yet, the Parisian defender assures that for his part he is physically fit and promises that he will soon make his return.
It has now been almost two years since Presnel Kimpembe no longer set foot on the pitches of a football stadium. Victim of a ruptured Achilles tendon, the defender of PSG seemed very close to a comeback at the end of last year, but Luis Enrique does not seem willing to revive it at the moment. And yet, Kimpembe says he is physically fit.
Kimpembe promises a quick return
« I feel very, very good at the moment, otherwise no one would have heard me. My return is coming soon. This is not to reassure the supporters, it is simply the truth, otherwise I would not have responded like that. People know me and know that I am the soldier that I am. I'll be back when it's time. I am patient and I wait for the right moment », he explains on the microphone of RTLbefore being questioned about a possible return to the French team.

« The important thing is to find minutes with my club, have fun and become efficient again. Because without being efficient, we cannot dream of the French team. It's not that long ago, I hope to be at the 2026 World Cup, but you have to be realistic », added Presnel Kimpembe.
