“It was a very difficult match, but an incredible victory against a good team. It’s always complicated to play against this kind of block, to find solutions, to hit on goal and to score. We played well in the first half, but in the second, I think we deserved to win. What made the difference was the mentality: we played with patience and circulated the ball with quality. We created two or three chances in the first half, but it wasn’t enough to win the match. Rulli was decisive again, we must not forget that. Either way, it’s a great win for us. Next week, we play against Lille in the Coupe de France, and it is very important for our supporters,” declared the coach of theMarseille Olympic at the end of the meeting at the DAZN microphone.
