DAZN and the LFP continue to evolve, whether in terms of their offers or meeting times. The objective is to offer viewers an ever more satisfying experience. Indeed, we have observed for several weeks that the British channel has been trying to attract its subscribers by offering them much more qualitative presentation and match coverage formats. A new timetable change confirms this trend.

If André Gide affirmed that “Intelligence is the ability to adapt”DAZN seems to have been largely inspired by it to try to improve the quality of its broadcasts. Since the start of the season, the British platform has been under fire due to the poor quality of its broadcasts. Between prices considered dissuasive and recurring technical problems, DAZN is now trying to redress the situation and meet subscriber expectations.

DAZN continues its seduction campaign

After obtaining the 15-minute delay of Sunday matches at 5:00 p.m., the channel has this time decided to act on the schedules of Friday and Saturday matches. From the 17th day of Ligue 1, which begins this evening, the Friday evening matches scheduled for 9:00 p.m. will begin at 9:05 p.m. when another match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. On the other hand, if only one meeting is scheduled on Friday, the time will remain fixed at 8:45 p.m. Same logic for Saturday evening: the matches initially scheduled for 9:00 p.m. will now start at 9:05 p.m.

The objective is twofold: to improve pre-match coverage and, above all, to prevent subscribers from missing the start of the next match when several matches follow one another. A measure which aims to alleviate user frustrations and strengthen the experience offered by the platform. For its part, the LFP explains, via a press release published yesterday, that these changes are being implemented “to allow better editorialization of pre-matches”.
