Unsurprisingly, it is the leader who has the most starters in the best starting eleven that we could imagine, with a Formose Mendy and a Darlin Yongwa who come to support Traoré () and the best decisive passer of the championship Alpha Sissoko (Guingamp). Behind them, the goalkeeper Placide is there to ensure on the line, while the Merlus captain Laurent Abergel is on sentry and also wears the armband of a team coached by Luis Castro, coach who allowed to be the best team in the championship in 2024.

Two relay/attacking midfielders who were not expected to be so good before the start of the season, Skyttä and Sellouki, put a trio of attackers in the best conditions. Indeed, Krasso’s left foot, off-center, will largely contribute to the goals of our shock team while the will-o’-the-wisp Nkada occupies the right lane to tire his side and put pressure on him. An essential factor to allow Pape Meïssa Ba, top scorer in the first 17 Ligue 2 matches, to stand out at the spearhead of this 4-3-3 system, rather well balanced in each line.
