Bruno Genesio appeared at a press conference this Thursday, the day before a trip to , to take stock of his group: the forces present and the absences.

LOSC is preparing to experience the first trip of its year 2025 with, as part of the seventeenth day of Ligue 1, a trip to Auxerre. The one, scheduled for this Friday, January 10 at 9 p.m., will have to be done without several members of the squad. Six elements will be missing: Nabil Bentaleb, Samuel Umtiti, Tiago Santosi.e. long-term absences, as well as Matias Fernandez-Pardo
(ankle), Edon Zhegrova
(adductors) and Ethan Mbappé
(quadriceps). Suspended during the reception of FC , Mitchel Bakker is back from suspension.

The words of Bruno Genesio at a press conference: “Regarding the group, compared to the last match, we have the return of Mitch (Bakker), who was suspended. There is an additional absence with that of Matias (Fernandez-Pardo), who suffered a fairly serious ankle injury. He has six weeks off, including three weeks with an orthopedic boot, in the best case scenario. Edon (Zhegrova) is on the right track, but he is still limited to individual sessions. No intervention is planned concerning him and he should quickly reappear in the group. »
