[Officiel] Goduine Koyalipou joins RC Lens

Second… or rather first winter recruit for the Racing Club de Lens, after the Pau Lopez affair. RC Lens formalized, this Thursday, January 9, the signing of striker Goduine Koyalipou until 2028.

In difficulty in the offensive sector – long injuries to Labeau-Lascary and Satriano, few goals scored –, RC Lens has decided to strengthen itself in this sector with the recruitment of Goduine Koyalipou. The Central African striker’s start to the season with CSKA Sofia convinced the blood and gold leaders. According to The Teamthe transfer amount is estimated at 2 million euros.

Back in France

The 24-year-old has already played in France since he was trained in Niort and participated in four seasons of Ligue 2 with the Chamois before leaving for Lausanne in Switzerland. He stayed there from 2021 to 2023 with a break on loan to Avranches in the National where he scored 13 goals. Then leaving for Waasland Beveren in the Belgian 2nd division, he scored 16 goals and left for Sofia last summer.

Since the start of the 2024-2025 financial year, he continues his progress in Bulgaria with 14 goals in as many starts, in 16 appearances in the league. French U19 international, he finally chose to wear the colors of the Central African Republic. He has one goal to his name in seven caps. A center forward capable of also playing on the right side, he has solid measurements of 1m84 and a little over 80 kg.
