Bruno Irlès will have to juggle between the fitness levels of his players to form his group in order to face Locminé, 8th in the championship, Saturday at 6 p.m. in a late match of the first day of National 2
Diabaté and Grillot uncertain
Indeed, defender Jean Grillot and goalkeeper Lassana Diabaté are undergoing rehabilitation. Both men trained with physio David Das Neves this morning. They started touching the ball (see our video at the bottom of the page). It is unlikely that Jean Grillot, who has not trained with the team all week, will be present in the group this weekend.
Regarding Lassana Diabaté, training this Friday could be decisive. In the event of a forfeit, it will be either Over Mandanda or Georges Grimaud in the Girondins cages. The two men followed the session this Thursday with Christian Potal, the goalkeeper coach. They also participated in the oppositions.
Carroll returns to the locker room before the end of the session
The Girondins' top scorer in N2 with 7 goals, Andy Carroll, participated in half of the session before returning to the locker room. We do not know the reason for this shortened training. In addition, Cédric Yambéré alternated between collective and individual work with the physical trainer. For his part, the Bordeaux captain participated in the opposition.
Playing with the ball and passing circuits
As usual, Bruno Irlès started the session with his speech to the players, then continued with a warm-up with a ball in a small area. He had at his disposal 20 outfield players, including Ranem, Diaby, Ben Khemis, Karim, Noc and Djitté, regulars of the National 3. The rest of the group is complete with Mutyaba, Diallo, Diaw, Trazié, Bai, Assogba, Trichard, etc.
Subsequently, the Bordeaux coach organized an opposition to work on the interior and exterior passing circuits without goalkeepers. Then, the session ended with a quarter-of-field opposition between all the players with goalkeepers. Louveau, suspended this weekend, was with the sparing partners team.
“Drop the ball”shouts Dado Prso, Irlès' assistant, to Diallo who knits and loses the ball. The intensity goes up a notch in this last exercise. The N2 players keep scoring goals: “Well done, well done!” exclaims the former Croatian international. He does not hesitate to replace, correct and congratulate the offensive players. “Well done Amadou“, addresses Irlès to Diallo who scores.
-The session ends after 1 hour 10 minutes of work with a discussion session, selfies and autographs with the supporters who came to attend. Yambéré, as a good captain, encourages all the players to come and the latecomers are invited to come.
This Friday's training will give Bruno Irlès his 16 names to put on the match sheet.
