While the future of Valentin Carboni seems to lie far from OM after his serious injury, Inter Milan would be open to a new loan of the Argentinian to Marseille.
Loaned this season with an option to buy to Olympique de Marseille by Inter Milan, Valentin Carboni had a timid start with the Marseille club before suffering a serious injury last October. Victim of a sprained cruciate ligament in his left knee during training with the Argentine selection, the Marseille attacking midfielder should be absent until the end of the season.
Carboni loaned to OM again next season?
If OM were considering breaking the loan of the former Monza player so that he returns to Inter Milan, the Nerazzurri could validate the idea of renewing Valentin Carboni's loan to OM next season, according to information from Tuttosport. It now remains to be seen whether Roberto De Zerbi and the Marseille leaders will be up for this option or not. In case the operation does not go through, the Italian club should try to send him to another club on loan.
