Currently injured in the knee and sidelined until the end of the season, the Spanish defender (32 years old) spoke about his future in an interview with the media Esquire. While he plans to play for a few more years, the emblematic right-back of the Merengue club has not closed the door to the end of his career in Qatar and in particular at Al-Gharafa.
“I won’t play against Real”
The reason for this choice is that he could find his friend and brother-in-law Joselu. “It wouldn’t seem crazy,” admitted Dani Carvajal. “I’ve already said that if I had to leave Real Madrid, I wouldn’t play in Europe anymore. I won’t play against Real, neither in the Champions League, nor in Spain. So that would be a likely destination.”
