If Goal! Club primarily deals with the news of certain elite teams, we have decided to give you a summary of what happened today in the other – less media-focused – part of . soccer.

Sébastien Haller in Monaco?

In search of an additional attacker with the injury of Falorin Balogun until April, AS Monaco is prospecting on the attackers market. While Randal Kolo Muani (PSG) was cited, ASM would rather be attracted by the profile of Sébastien Haller (30 years old), and would be in discussions with Borussia Dortmund to attract him, reports Sport News Africa. Under contract until 2026 with the German team, Haller is currently on loan to Leganés, where he is in quite difficulty (no goals in 9 games). The former Auxerrois could therefore relaunch in Ligue 1, for the very first time in his career.

Jonathan David is thinking big for his last with LOSC

In an interview given to Téléfoot, the striker, under contract until next June, expressed his ambitions. “Finish top scorer in Ligue 1? Necessarily. When you are a scorer, you necessarily want to finish top scorer. Afterwards, the season is very long. I think it's a goal for all Ligue 1 attackers who want to win this title. We are ten points (from PSG, 13 now), it’s complicated. We're going to have to win a lot of matches and lose some if we want to do it. Winning a title with LOSC is a goal, but it's not easy. We will give ourselves the means to accomplish this.”

Leny Yoro (LOSC) has no regrets

Trained at LOSC, Leny Yoro left the North last summer to join Manchester United. He thus brought back a huge check to the Mastiffs, estimated at 63 million fixed euros, plus 7 in bonuses. Weighed down by an injury which delayed him, he only played his first official match on December 4. Despite everything, he does not regret his career choice at all, as he declared for Téléfoot on Sunday: “Regrets? No, none really. If I came here, it’s not for nothing.”

Jimmy Cabot's Last Dance with

Newly retired after battling injuries, Jimmy Cabot received a final tribute from the Lens public this Sunday evening, during Lens-PSG. At the microphone of beIN Sports, he looked back on these last few rather special days. “It’s always great to experience these matches in Bollaert. For me, it was quite a special week with the announcement that my career was ending. I received a lot of messages, there were a lot of emotions and I imagine there will be more this evening. I didn't have too many hopes anymore. I had periods where I hoped to be able to come back and continue the sessions, but I reached a stage where it became burdensome even in daily life. I couldn't come back as well as I hoped, I had to make this decision. I had hurt my ankle before arriving here, but I recovered quite well with a good start to the season at RC Lens. After the crusaders, I had complications and it was very hard to come back,” he confided, in comments reported by Le 11 HDF.

An extension in

RC Strasbourg is preparing to armor one of its nuggets. Indeed, according to L'Équipe, Abdoul Ouattara, a versatile 19-year-old midfielder, will extend with his training club until June 2029. This season, the player appreciated by coach Liam Rosenior has played 6 matches, including 5 in Ligue 1, with the added bonus of a first goal against on November 30 (3-1).
