On TV7, the number 2 goalkeeper this season at the Girondins de Bordeaux, Over Mandandaspoke about one of his brothers, Steve, who plays today at Stade Rennais, and who is obviously an example for him.
“Yes, obviously, that’s the example of a lot of goalkeepers. His career is simply exemplary. It's at a level that at forty years old, I certainly wouldn't have (laughs). Honestly, he's an incredible goalkeeper, he's had an extraordinary career, and I have a lot of respect for everything he's done. He’s my brother, but I have a lot of respect for what he did.”
According to him, is there not a regret of not having evolved abroad, or at least succeeded because he had a quick experience in England?
“I wouldn't say it's a regret for him because despite everything, he experienced great things, at Olympique de Marseille, in the French team. I think it's worth it all in all. His career, in France, for me, is better than a career elsewhere. Afterwards, we don't know what the world is made of, but I think he has nothing to envy of other goalkeepers who went abroad, because he won trophies, he played important matches…”
