Then he adds.
“He only had one demand when he arrived in Bordeaux, and that was to be number 1. It was not a given because John Williams had brought in several goalkeepers so that Bruno Irles had choice. In the end, it turned out to be a sensation. It's a good thing that everyone was in the same direction by giving him the keys to the truck, especially since he scored a goal in the first match… Everything came together for Lassana Diabaté to integrate into this club. The thing that I like is that he came because he loves the club. We really need people like that to ensure that the Girondins de Bordeaux find their place.”
If there was a small downside, it would be his aerial exits.
