“You were known in Strasbourg for your versatility and it was also verified in the Bundesliga, since you occupied no less than five positions last season. But this year, you have settled on a straight piston. Does it change you?
Honestly yes. Since the start of my career, I always told myself that it was an advantage to change positions because it allowed me to play. Replace an unavailable teammate? We could count on Antho! But on the other hand, it was also a disadvantage because, to show my qualities over time, it was better for me to stay in a single role. I have my bearings there and I have the opportunity to put together some good performances. I had a discussion about this with the coach (Bo Henriksen) at the start of the season. I told him that I was ready to help out in other positions for a match or two but that I needed to stay in a specific position to build my confidence. He told me: “OK, we’re going to put you on the right and you won’t move.”
