From Wednesday and Thursday, voters for the election of the president of the FFF were called to vote to appoint the new boss of the FFF for the next four years. Philippe Diallo, who replaced Noël Le Graët in January 2023 after his sidelining, and who served as interim president, hoped to offer himself a definitive mandate this time, facing his opponent, the former director Pierre Samsonoff.

Finally, in a vote with a fairly low participation, around 40%, it was Philippe Diallo, already in office, who was again elected with 55.34% of the votes. The boss of the FFF obtained 20,422 votes against 16,478 votes for Pierre Samsonoff. A closer vote than one might expect. As a reminder, the voters were distributed as follows: amateur clubs (33% of the votes), leagues and districts (33%) and professional clubs (33%).
