Six months after the arrival of Francisco Conceição in the form of a loan, Juventus wishes to permanently enlist the young player, and offer themselves another Portuguese international.
It is in Portugal that Juventus wishes to make its next purchases. Just a few months after obtaining the loan of Francisco Conceição, due in particular to the extra-sporting disputes that the player had with his training club, Juventus also wishes to acquire another Portuguese player.
Juventus wants to sign Francisco Conceição
Francisco Conceição's loan to Juventus is a success. For his second experience away from his bases, the young Portuguese international this time manages to show the full extent of his talent, while he is one of the strong men at the start of the Turin season. The young Portuguese, who was notably voted best player in his team last October, was decisive 7 times in the space of 13 appearances in the black and white jersey, already accumulating no less than 5 assists decisive and 2 achievements.
At Juve, Francisco Conceição is already unanimous. Under these conditions, the club's leaders were keen to begin negotiations with FC Porto now in the hope of enlisting the young player for the coming seasons. An amount of 30 million euros would be mentioned, for a transfer which, according to information from Fabrizio Romano, has a good chance of succeeding. For good reason, Francisco Conceição feels good within his new club and would like to stay in Turin at the end of his loan, while FC Porto still presents a delicate economic situation.
Another Portuguese international in Turin?
Francisco Conceição is not the only Portuguese player who interests Juventus. Following the injury to Gleison Bremer, the Italian club is looking for defensive reinforcement for the next transfer window. Less and less used within SL Benfica, notably due to competition from the excellent Tomas Araujo for the central defender position, Antonio Silva is one of Juventus' priorities.
Although he has been much less visible for several months, the Portuguese should not be sold off by his training club. Aged 21, and with solid experience in the main European competitions, but also in the colors of the Seleção, Antonio Silva could cost an astronomical sum for the Turin club, while he has a release clause estimated at 100 million euros.
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the different parties have met in the last few hours to discuss the possibility of a loan with an option to buy for the young central defender. It remains to be seen whether Juventus will be able to prove sufficiently convincing, as the need for reinforcement is felt.
