Barça: two €80 million monsters can land… for €0!

Barça is thinking big for the summer of 2025, targeting zero-cost transfers.

Behind the scenes, Catalan leaders are working to attract international caliber players at the end of their contracts, with the aim of strengthening the team without breaking the bank. Under the leadership of Hansi Flick, Barça is reconnecting with its European ambitions and hopes to equip itself with an armada worthy of its great years.

Jonathan Tah, a strong defensive reinforcement

One of the moves considered concerns Jonathan Tah, the solid German defender of Bayer Leverkusen. At 28 years old, this 1.95 m pillar sees his contract expire in June, and Barça are reportedly well advanced in the discussions. With his experience in the Bundesliga and his estimated value of €30 million, Tah could strengthen the defensive sector for no fee, adding a valuable option for next season.

Jonathan David, the offensive asset

In the Catalan sights, Jonathan David, the prolific LOSC striker, could also join Catalonia for free at the end of his contract. Currently valued at 50 million euros, David has had impressive performances in Ligue 1 and would be an ideal successor to Robert Lewandowski. If Barça pulls off these two transfers at a combined value of €80 million without spending a cent, they could even afford to target another star, like AC Milan's Rafael Leao.
