Mallorca right-back Johan Mojica lost his nerve after headbutting his teammate Manu Morlanes during the defeat against FC Barcelona (1-5) on Tuesday in La Liga.

The return of Lamine Yamal with Barça did a lot of harm to Mallorca (1-5) on Tuesday. In more than one way. The Spanish nugget dynamited the opposing defense by causing a penalty, then delivering a sumptuous assist for Raphinha during the great Catalan success. He also caused, despite himself, a brutal clash between two Majorcan teammates following the action of the penalty.

Launched in depth after good work from Dani Olmo, the Barcelona winger was destabilized by left side Johan Mojica, logically sanctioned and warned on this action finally converted into a goal by Raphinha (1-2, 56th). But he obviously did not consider himself to be the sole culprit of this error. The former Villarreal player started a discussion with his midfielder Manu Morlanes, visibly blaming him for things.

Hand over mouth, Morlanes responded before Mojica lost his nerve and headed towards him, headbutting him in the face. Which left his teammate unmoved. The scene escaped the referee Gil Manzano who could have warned, and therefore excluded, Mojica, as allowed by the regulations. Morlanes tried to reduce the tension with his teammate under the watchful eye of his captain, Antonio Rallo.

At the end of the meeting, coach Jagoba Arrasate cleared the situation, while regretting Mojica's excess anger. “Mojica has confidence in Morlanes, they already agree and that sometimes allows us to say something else. I'm not justifying what Johan did but they have confidence and that's why he recriminated him, although it’s not just him because we’ve all made mistakes.”
