OL will play three competitions in December. He will juggle between Ligue 1, the Europa League and the Coupe de France. Five matches await him before the break.
One last month to complete 2024. While Pierre Sage celebrates his first year at the head of OL (he was appointed on November 30, 2023), his team has one last block to negotiate before the winter break between the end of December and the beginning of January. For the moment, they have just had a draw in Reims in the championship (1-1) and a success in Azerbaijan against Qarabag (1-4). He still has five games to play before the cut.
A shock against Paris, after a duel against Frankfurt
First obstacle on Sunday with the arrival of Nice in Décines. See you at 5 p.m. for the 13th day of Ligue 1. He will then play two other championship matches, on December 7 in Angers (9 p.m.) and the clash on the pitch of Paris Saint-Germain on the 15th (8:45 p.m.). Between the two, Alexandre's teammates Lacazette will host Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday 12 (9 p.m., 6th day).
Finally, there will remain a final stage, perhaps not the most difficult, even if we will have to wait for the draw to know the opponent. Unlike other years, the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France will be held on the weekend of December 21 and 22. The Rhone club, finalist of the previous edition, will meet its opponent on Monday December 2.
