L’ASSE lent Done, Owusu at US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, but the sports management is keeping a close eye on his National career. The echoes coming from Normandy regarding the young defender are rather satisfactory.
ASSE: Beres Owusu supervised at US Quevilly
Trained at ASSE, Beres Owusu participated in summer preparation with the Saint-Etienne professional team. With the confidence ofOlivier Dall'Ogliothe young 21-year-old central defender made his debut in Ligue 1 against AS Monaco, playing the entire match.
However, after a second day on the bench, the Saint-Etienne leaders decided to loan him to US Quevilly, in order to allow him to acquire playing time and gain experience. This loan, for a period of one season, does not include a purchase option, thus ensuring his return to Saint-Étienne next summer.
Under the colors of QRM, Beres Owusu is regularly supervised by Loïc Perrin, the sports director of ASSE. “The sporting director of Saint-Étienne watches all the matches of the loaned players. So the follow-up is exemplary and I enjoy talking with him”confided David Squarecoach of Quevilly, in an interview given to People-Green.

The technician was satisfied with the young defender's performance: “The loan of Beres Owusu is going very well. I trust him. His performances are very satisfactory, but he is a young player in full progress who still needs to refine certain aspects of his game.
David Carré particularly highlighted the player's axis of progression: “In duels, he is very effective, both in the air and on the ground. Now we are working on improving its raises.«
