Bad news for FC Nantes expected at Princes Park for a shock against the PSG. After the incidents that occurred at the Beaujoire during the reception of Le Havre, the supporters of FCN are prohibited from traveling to Paris.
PSG – FC Nantes: The match will be played without FCN supporters
Following the incidents that occurred last Sunday during the FC Nantes – Le Havre match, the Ministry of the Interior has decided to prohibit Nantes supporters from traveling to the Parc des Princes for the match against PSG.
Initially, a support system for Nantes supporters had been planned for this match. However, the excesses observed at Beaujoire, in particular the attempts to invade the pitch by the Loire Brigade, led the authorities to take a more restrictive decision. FC Nantes will therefore face PSG without its supporters.
It's a hard blow for Antoine Kombouaré's men, who had just revived thanks to a 2-0 victory against Le Havre last weekend. The ban follows a meeting held on Wednesday evening with all stakeholders.
Furthermore, the Ministry of the Interior is studying the possibility of dissolving the Loire Brigade, the main group of FC Nantes supporters involved in these incidents. These sanctions aim to remind people of the importance of respecting the rules and to fight against violence in stadiums.
