The transition Ligue 2 – Ligue 1 was visibly difficult to digest for Jean-Philippe Gbamin who, after a very impressive period at Dunkirk in our championship (21 matches including 18 starts in a row, 2 goals and 1 assist), has hardly played since his arrival at FC Nantes ! The Canaries player (16th in Ligue 1), who has only played 7 matches and 181 minutes in the league, is not necessarily already resigned but would be in the sights of a club which could offer him more playing time .

According to our colleagues from the newspaper L'Équipe, a way out could open for him in the form of a loan or a transfer this winter, only half a season after his arrival in Loire-Atlantique. In fact, his former club CSKA Moscow (6th in the Russian Premier League) would position himself to bring back the midfielder who had played with him during a loan in 2021-2022 for a few months. We will keep you informed of the progress of the file, if it ever materializes.
