OL. UEFA pays more than a million euros to Olympique Lyonnais

A little over a million for OL, a third for OGC paid today by UEFA.

In the current state of affairs, after a painful and painful passage of the club before the National Directorate of Control and Management, this is good news, even though it has obviously already been budgeted, after each result obtained by Pierre Sage's men on the green rectangle.

Because it is thanks to them that, this Friday, November 22, OL must receive 1.05 million euros from UEFA, as we learned Sports. This follows the performances of Les Gones in the Europa League which they are competing in this season. This day is that of the payment of performance bonuses for the first four days of the new single-pool phase.

More than a million for OL and 300,000 euros for OGC Nice

In this case, Olympique Lyonnais won twice and got a draw. According to the new distribution grid, each victory is paid 450,000 euros and a draw, 150,000 euros. This million and a little more completes a first payment received in September, notably following the payment of part of the bonus common to the teams entered in the final phase, namely 4.14 million euros out of a total of 4.31 million. The missing 170,000 euros will be paid at the end of the competition.

Also involved in this Europa League, OGC Nice will be limited to 300,000 euros, which is worth the two draws won by the GYM collective. As with the Champions League, UEFA has revised its competition format, now played in a single group. And on this occasion the bonus envelope was increased from 100 million euros on the previous edition, to 565 million euros now for the C3.
