Even if Barça's current priority is within the squad with the extensions of Pedri, Gavi and Araujo, but also the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, files that are already not easy to conclude given the lack of salary margin, the Catalan club would have great possibilities on the transfer market. Indeed, according to information from Mundo Deportivo, two not least attackers have expressed interest in joining Barça: Rafa Leão (Milan) and Jonathan David (Lille).
Leao or David at Barça next summer?
Leão (25 years old), under contract until 2028, is seen as a talented player but lacking consistency within the Catalan club. The Portuguese striker wants to leave Milan to take a step forward. With an estimated value of 80 million euros, Leao is appreciated for his explosiveness, his dribbling, and his offensive versatility. His physical and technical profile corresponds well to Barça's needs, particularly in attack where the substitutes struggle to match the starters. Jorge Mendes, his agent, also maintains good relations with the club, which could facilitate a possible transaction.
Jonathan David (24), under contract until 2025, displays excellent statistics in front of goal and dreams of playing for Barcelona. With his contract expiring soon, it would cost less than a traditional transfer, although a signing bonus would necessarily be necessary. However, with Lewandowski performing well despite his 36 years, Barca could delay the purchase of another reference center forward. Despite these great opportunities, Barça would therefore be decided not to hurry.
