Should LOSC expect two major departures during the January transfer window? In an interview with The Athletic, Jonathan David revealed his preferences for his future. At the end of his contract in June 2025, David is coveted by several major European clubs, including FC Barcelona.
David, 24, has scored 13 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 matches in all competitions this season. His impressive performances have attracted the attention of the biggest clubs, but it is FC Barcelona that has made the Canadian international dream. “Barcelona was the team I supported growing up. Jonathan David also mentioned the other clubs that follow him closely, such as Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal, Liverpool, Inter Milan or even Newcastle, West Ham and Fulham. “I'm honored to see so many clubs interested in me, but for now I'm focusing on my season with Lille,” he said.
