RC Lens fell back into its ways this afternoon. Opposed to Orléans, the under-19s made far too many gifts to hope to take the slightest point. Defeat 1-3 at home.
They failed to build momentum after their great victory in the derby against Lille a week ago. At La Gaillette this afternoon, the U19s (5th) hosted Orléans (6th). And the game did not turn out to their advantage.
An error on a set piece allowed Orléans to take the lead in the first quarter of an hour (0-1, 13th), then increase their lead five minutes later (0-2, 18th). Aligned in the first period, Rayan Fofana (photo) was responsible for converting a penalty for the Lensois (1-2, 31st). So, all is not lost when we return from the locker room.
