The France team is once again without Kylian Mbappé during this international break. The captain of the Blues is absent from the France group for the second time in a row.
Present at a press conference this Saturday, Ibrahima Konaté was again questioned about the Kylian Mbappé case. The French defender of Liverpool did not hide his admiration for the Madrid striker who did great things in the French jersey but was also honest about his case.
« We all love Mbappé, he’s an exceptional player. We will never forget what he did for our team and the country. But afterwards, we will never say to ourselves that we will not win a match if he is not there,” he said to journalists at a pre-match press conference.

Starting in central defense alongside Dayot Upamecano against Israel this Thursday evening at the Stade de France, Ibrahima Konaté should once again appear in Didier Deschamps' starting 11 this Sunday evening against the Italians as part of the 6th day of the League of Nations.
