Even if coach Luis Enrique says he is completely satisfied with his squad, Paris Saint-Germain could strengthen next January. The capital club is considering the arrival of Brazilian midfielder from Galatasaray Gabriel Sara, highly coveted on the transfer market.
Before the winter transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain's priority is not necessarily what we think. Long deprived of Gonçalo Ramos due to an ankle injury, and unconvinced by the performances of Randal Kolo Muani, Luis Enrique relies mainly on Marco Asensio and Kang-in Lee as false number 9. We can therefore imagine the possible arrival of a center forward, especially if the rumors of the departure of the French international are confirmed.
Galatasaray ready to sell its recruit
It remains to be seen whether the Parisian coach will validate the arrival of reinforcement at the forefront. It's not so sure. The Spaniard could favor a signing in the midfield, a sector where the reigning French champion has shown his limits in the Champions League. Perhaps this is why Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Gabriel Sara. Indeed, the Football Insiders source claims that the capital club has started discussions to recruit the Galatasaray midfielder.
The current leader of Ligue 1 would like to complete his transfer as quickly as possible, knowing that other European teams would be on board. The 25-year-old Brazilian signed up with the Turkish club this summer. Arriving from Norwich City, the Paris Saint-Germain target has signed until 2029 as part of an 18 million euro transfer. A few months later, Galatasaray would not be opposed to his departure, on condition of recovering 25 million euros in the operation. Not enough to deter the Parisians apparently seduced by his volume of play, his combativeness and the quality of his left foot.
