Olympique Lyonnais have reportedly made an offer of 14 million euros to sign a Brazilian star.
John Textor drew. Interested for several days in the young Brazilian crack of Vasco da Gama, Rayan Vitor, Olympique Lyonnais would have made a first offer to the Brazilian team. According to information from Globo, Les Gones have made an offer worth 14 million euros for the 18-year-old winger.
A complicated file
But as is often the case with OL since the arrival of John Textor, this deal is quite complicated. The Brazilian media is indeed talking about a deal including Botafogo, also a member of the Eagle galaxy. Thus, the American businessman is discussing an arrangement with Vasco da Gama for the cancellation of a debt, estimated at 2.3 million euros, and the rental of the Nilton Santos stadium, where Botafogo plays. Vasco will indeed play there for the next three years because of the renovation work on its Sao Januario stadium.
Note that if this deal sees the light of day Rayan Vitor wants to join OL directly, without going through Botafogo or Molenbeek. But the problem is that OL has no extra-community place available and will therefore have to sell a non-community player this winter to accommodate him…
