As after each day of the French Ligue 1 championship, we come back to the key figures. After the defeat of the Greens in in the derby, they are not good and express the great difficulties that the Greens are experiencing in traveling this season.

Today's curiosities:

  • Twenty-sixth derby lost in Lyon in Ligue 1 for nineteen draws and twelve victories. The fourteenth with just one goal difference.
  • ASSE still does not win away. In Ligue 1, no victory in the last fourteen away games and at least one goal conceded in the last twelve.
  • Derbys in November, it was Lyon who missed out: fifth consecutive defeat for those contested that month.
  • Lyon had managed to score at least two goals per match at home, seven times in the last eight matches.
  • ASSE is ranked ninth at home and seventeenth away.

Good or bad stats:

  • Possession 62% for the locals, almost identical in each half.
  • 6 shots on target out of 10 for the Stéphanois, but most of them without danger for the Lyon goalkeeper.
  • Only 37% (19/51) of long passes successful by ASSE compared to 58% (21/36) by OL.
  • Best Saint-Etienne ratio of successful passes for Bouchouari 89% (31/35).
  • 58% of duels won by the Greens but Lyon dominates in the air: 62% of aerial duels won.
  • Petrot won seven out of seven duels, Bouchouari seven out of ten. Ekah won seven out of ten. It is less good for Mason three out of eight and Stasi two out of nine.
  • OL side Tagliafico is the best with nine out of eleven.
  • 90% of the tackles made by the Stéphanois were successful, 62% for the Gones.
  • Nadé (59) et Davitashvili (56) were the Stéphanois who touched the most balls, but eight Lyonnais did better including Tagliafico (105).

Tribunes and supporters:

  • No green supporters declared at Groupama Stadium which, with 58,082 spectators present, achieved a record for the Derby.
  • This is the second largest crowd of the day behind 64,184.
  • Average of nine weekend games 31,323.
  • This season, ASSE away played in front of 27,538 people on average.

ASSE Series:

  • Six away games without a win and with goals conceded.

Referee, discipline, fouls and cards:

  • Good arbitration M. Delajodfrom the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne League who had never led an ASSE meeting.
  • Twenty-four fouls called, including thirteen against ASSE. The average for the day is twenty-six per meeting.
  • The card inflicted on Boakye places the latter in the list of those who will be hung on the next rusk.
  • Larsonneur et N'Zuzi come out of this list.
