The FC Barcelona et Niketwo leading brands in the world of sports, are delighted to announce the start of a new multi-year sponsorship agreement, which will come into effect from this season. This will bring a new model of strategic alliance and collaboration between the two organizations.
This new partnership consolidates Nike as the Club's main ally and official technical sponsor of all teams, professional and amateur, by providing a unique model that strengthens the brand association. It helps boost the growth of sales and licenses. Nike plays a key strategic role in the Club's sales operations and, with Barça Licensing & Merchandising, the brand will join forces in the development of specific plans and in product creation, delivery chain and global distribution.
FC Barcelona and Nike first signed a sponsorship agreement in 1998 and have since shared a deep commitment to innovation, creativity and the pursuit of excellence, both on and off the pitch. Together, they have enjoyed success for decades, thanks to extraordinary football, and trophies in spades: 4 Champions Leagues, 12 Ligas, 7 Copas del Rey, 3 Club World Cups and 3 European Super Cups, among others . For its part, Barça Women has become a reference in its sport by winning 9 Leagues, 3 Champions Leagues and 9 Queen's Cups during this period. As for the other professional sections, they have notably won 58 Leagues, 25 European Cups and 47 Copas del Rey.
