Following a firefighters' strike at airport, flights to Prague were canceled. Many fans had to find an alternative to travel to the Czech Republic before the match kicked off.

This Wednesday evening, Stade Brestois travels to the Epet Arena in Prague to challenge the Sparta club. A perilous trip which could, however, allow Eric Roy's men to find themselves in a very good position for the rest of the competition. While many Brest supporters are expected in the Czech capital to push their team even 1,600 km from the tip of , certain flights to Prague from Nantes airport were canceled following a firefighters' strike. Enough to force some to embroider to arrive in time for the match.

Brest – Prague by car for some supporters

It’s an unexpected journey that some Stade Brestois supporters have experienced. While their Nantes-Prague flight was canceled, valiant fans of the club did not think any further and took out the keys to their car to set off on the 17-hour drive that separated them from Prague. On X, a supporter speaks about this. “ Departure by car at 8 p.m. when the cancellation was announced… arrival in Prague scheduled for 12 p.m.! What a journey! », he exclaims.

For others, it's an obstacle course by train that will allow them to arrive in time to see Stade Brestois take to the pitch of the Sparta Prague stadium. “ We also left at 4 a.m. this morning to go to , then train to for a 9-hour trip with a stopover in Amsterdam before going to Prague », Explains another supporter. As they point out, however, “ It's so worth it, in a year we'll laugh about itra”. The game is clearly worth it, as Brest has filled its supporters with happiness since the start of the competition with two victories and a draw in the Champions League.
