The PSG continues its rise economically and presented honorable figures today. Indeed, the capital club positions itself as a key player in the economy of the Ile-de-France region.
In collaboration with the Center for Sports Law and Economics (CDES), the Paris Saint-Germain today presented an economic assessment resulting from a study entitled “ Economic impact and social utility of Paris Saint-Germain“. The latter aims to measure the impact of PSG on the Ile-de-France economy. Thus, the first figures released are those of €243M of added value, as well as €371M of social and tax contribution for the 2023/2024 season. The contribution of
Paris Saint-Germain to the total wealth of the Ile-de-France region has increased by 25% in 5 years (€182.2M in 2018/2019, latest CDES report) on this subject. The primary source of this creation of added value is, unsurprisingly, the organization of sporting events with €74.6 million. In terms of work, the PSG is also a real locomotive for the region with 2,379 jobs divided into 746 direct jobs, 291 indirect jobs and 1,342 induced jobs. PSG also on an international scale by seeing the club be the third which generates the most income in Europe with a total of €805M in 2023/2024. Furthermore, the Paris Saint-Germainwith an average annual growth of 17.6% since 2010/2011, ranks at the top of the European top 20.

Regarding the social and tax contribution in 2023/2024 of €371M, the increase is 44% compared to the 2018/2019 season, and is equivalent to 7.4% of the budget of the Ile-de-France region. .
