For the first time in decades, an official Girondins de match will not be broadcast on screens. In fact, 7, which broadcasts all home matches, refuses to pay the sum of €1,500 to allow the match to be broadcast. We revealed this amount to you on WebGirondins.

It is therefore the entire community of Girondins supporters who are deprived of broadcasting. Here is the explanation from the president of Foot 41.

“More than €10,000 spent to ensure the security of the match”

François Jacob president of Blois in The New Republic : “We are not opposed, we just asked for the modest sum of €1,500. Our club has limited means and must spend more than €10,000 to ensure the security of this match. My position simply consists of partially amortizing the expenses unforeseen events because I have the responsibility to ensure the sustainability of the sports association that I chair.”

The match was sold out, and Bordeaux supporters were banned from the stadium.
