The Racing Club de Lens has just formalized the signing of Rayan Fofana within its professional squad.
After signing a professional contract with Tom Pouilly and Ismaëlo Ganiou last summer, RC Lens continues to develop young shoots from the La Gaillette Technical and Sports Center. From now on, it is the striker Rayan Fofana who joins Will Still's squad.
Rayan Fofana begins his training at Espérance de Paris. At 13, he joined the center of La Gaillette in 2019. During his first season in U19, he scored seven goals in 10 appearances. The 2023-2024 season is that of confirmation for the attacker since he concludes his exercise with 16 goals in 22 matches. He is also part of the squad that shines in the Youth League.
Injured at the start of the season, Rayan Fofana signed his first professional contract. He therefore links his future to that of Racing until 2027.
Éric Sikora, head of post-training, declares: “The signing of this first professional contract is a great mark of mutual trust between Racing and Rayan Fofana. It culminates several years of training at the club and rewards Rayan's progress during the 2023/24 season. His finishing qualities allowed him to shine, totaling 19 goals in the U19 national championship and the Youth League. In addition to its characteristics, Rayan has great room for improvement and we are very happy to continue to support it in its development. Congratulations Rayan! »
