In a self-produced video, the Brazilian star looked back on this long process to return to competition while talking about his lack of the field.
“What I love most is playing football. Every day away from the field is painful for me, it’s what hurts me the most, what makes me suffer the most” he explains before bursting into tears. The player joined the Saudi league and club Al-Hilal in August 2023 for 90 million euros. With this club, the former PSG player only played five short matches before rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The lightening should soon arrive, the 32-year-old Brazilian has resumed training and could very soon return to the football fields more than a year later.
