Courted by PSG who are looking for a big reinforcement in defense, William Saliba seems ready to stall Parisian advances. Formerly of OM, the French defender seems to have a Marseille heart for life.
For two years, it has been difficult to find central defenders better than him in his position. William Saliba has indeed become a monster. So much so that PSG is thinking very concretely about organizing its transfer to the capital. Luis Campos and Luis Enrique have validated this idea and are considering an offensive soon. But on William Saliba’s side, PSG does not seem an option.
Saliba, Marseillais for life
Like Dimitri Payet, William Saliba seems “Marseillais for life”. Branded by the Stade Vélodrome and the people of Marseille, the French defender would not consider wearing the colors of the Parisian enemy. Would the native of Bondy deny his Parisian origins for the beautiful eyes of Marseille?
“He is very happy at Arsenal”
Asked about the Saliba file, Fabrizio Romano recently indicated that the Frenchman was not thinking of leaving at all: “William Saliba never considered leaving Arsenal this summer. His life at Arsenal is fantastic, he is very happy with the club, the championship, the city. He is very happy with the manager and the project, so he can see the ambition and the importance he has”.
