Difficult evening for the Marseillais this Friday. The Angers SCO leaves the Vélodrome with 1 point and the Olympians delivered a performance that will not be remembered. Did Roberto De Zerbi make a mistake in his starting line-up? The Italian coach tried new things offensively, notably benching Amine Harit in favor of Valentin Carboni. The Argentinian didn’t really shine in a positive way before his exit at half-time.

Harit left on the bench, it was the young Argentinian who took his place at number 10. Supposed to have a more creative profile, he was unable to find the fault against the Angevin defense. Author of an encouraging first quarter of an hour with a few combinations with Greenwood, he gradually faded away during the first half before sinking to the position of false number 9 after the expulsion of Maupay. Rowe was more impactful and decisive a few minutes after his entry.
