PSG – Stade Rennes: Stéphan’s probable line-up
For the trip to Paris, Stade Rennes should play in the same system, but changes are expected.
Julien Stéphan will not lead the same team back to Paris. The coach said he was satisfied with the face shown by his group against Lens, a match at the end of which SRFC conceded a draw on the gong. But Julien Stéphan will make some changes of players, failing to change the system.
No additional midfielder expected therefore, as confirmed by the technician, and a 3-4-3 to be expected. Left on the bench following his return from suspension, Leo Ostigard could rejoin the team against a very effective opponent offensively. He will officiate axis-axis of the three-way defense, pushing on the right Christopher Wooh (right axis) and Hans Hateboer (right piston), so as to create a defensive line leaning slightly to the left offensively with Truffert.
In the middle, the Santamaria-Matusiwa association having been the great satisfaction of last Saturday, no change is expected, unlike the attack. After a lot of succession, Albert Gronbaek could give way to Amine Gouiri, decisive at the start of the season and twice replacing recently. During the last trip to the Parc des Princes, the Algerian international was brilliant.
