Riolo continues his demolition work on PSG

Daniel Riolo, a journalist, lost his favorite scapegoat a little over a year ago. He found one again in the person of Luis Enrique, whom he did not hesitate to scratch once again in The After Foot. He first recalled that Luis Enrique is the main architect of the new project and that he will have to be judged as such. Then, as is often the case, he criticized the Parisian coach, a follower of a football that he does not like.

Riolo “They agreed and the sporting director went along with Luis Enrique”

“This project thing. I’m happy for us to stop the star policy but if we come to criticize it, I don’t want to hear: ‘Luis Campos is the manager of a squad that Luis Enrique has to deal with’. It didn’t happen like that, it’s absolutely clear: it was the two of them together (who made the transfer window).

Both said: ‘new policy, new collective, new way of working hand in hand’ (between Luis Enrique and Luis Campos). Let’s not put the responsibility on Campos, they agreed and the sports director went along with Luis Enrique.

Riolo “I don’t see this extraordinary and brilliant collective freed from the weight of individualities”

I don’t see this extraordinary and brilliant collective freed from the weight of individualities. In the end, a collective that we don’t understand anything about, a vague communication based on lies and the individuality that no longer officially exists, that’s communist football.

Luis Enrique has a totalitarian idea in his ideas and this way of imposing his football without debating. Even his mentor Pep Guardiola had to admit that playing with a star, Erling Haaland, was still useful to him.

It is becoming difficult to relay this journalist, who only conveys hatred and resentment. He only communicates by silencing others by shouting louder. He says that Luis Enrique does not want to debate, which is false. Luis Enrique likes to talk about football. However, since this is not what the journalist prefers, he exerts constant pressure. He criticizes constantly, he hammers home his dislike of the Parisian coach.

He must also know how to question himself, he knows football well, but he becomes inaudible. Why not speak with the Parisian coach directly, ask him questions, make the debate interesting?

There is never anything going well with PSG according to Riolo, how far will he go? When he says that Luis Enrique does not want stars, it is not entirely true. The Parisian coach wants players who want to play for the collective.

He probably wouldn’t say no to Erling Haaland, who has everything of a star, but who remains altruistic. Riolo can’t say everything without there being answers. Because if he regrets that Luis Enrique doesn’t debate, we regret that it’s impossible to talk to him without being yelled at.
