As a reminder, the Minister of Microfinance, Social and Solidarity Economy, revealed an embezzlement whose damage is estimated at 60 million FCFA following an internal audit.
He had announced legal proceedings for an amount of 30 million FCFA on which they would have evidence.
“When we came, we commissioned audits with the internal inspection, in particular the inspection of administrative and financial affairs. We noticed misappropriations and money was consumed without any traceability. For the overall amount, it is a sum of 60 million. But what has been observed with supporting evidence is around thirty million. For the embezzlement of thirty million which was proven, we have decided to initiate legal proceedings against the director,” A. Dione said.
