Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone appeared in a press conference, to talk about tomorrow’s confrontation against Real Madrid, in the eighth round of La Liga.

The coach said: “A few Rest before the derby? The most important thing is mental readiness, and apart from the physical aspect that may affect at some stage, motivation is an important weapon for everything in life.”

He added. :”How important is the match tomorrow out of 10? In my opinion, everywhere is 10/10 important.”

He added:”Are you nervous? I’m always nervous, anxious.” Excited, happy with all the expectations that each match brings me. Since I arrived here in the first match against Malaga, nothing has changed for me.”

And about the atmosphere surrounding the derby. :”I distance myself from anything that has nothing to do with preparing for the derby. I don’t care what people say but I understand that the derby should be played with all the big players on the field. However, the players and coaches must focus on what matters to us.”

He continued: “An important player like Toni Kroos has left Real Madrid, who is admired by all coaches and is necessary for any team. I think they are looking for a player who can give them the calm they need to exploit their attacking line. They will not change.” Whether Modric or Guler participates.”

He continued: “Knowing Ancelotti, he will look to start with Bellingham as a playmaker or in the left position. There is also the possibility of Modric being in the middle or Rodrigo.”

He concluded:” Not having enough time to rest? We accept what we have. We said the same thing when we went to play against Bilbao in the semi-final. They had five days off and we had two days. Nobody remembers that. There are people who work very well and we have to respect their work because they do things very well
