The player, who also ended his career with the Japanese club Tokyo Sungoliath, announced his decision on his Instagram account: “ Today I am completing a very important stage in my life. After many years of dedication, effort and passion, I have made the decision to retire from Rugby, a sport that has not only shaped me as a player, but also as a person. Rugby has given me more than I could have imagined. He taught me values such as teamwork, humility, respect and resilience. But, above all, it allowed me to meet extraordinary people: friends, coaches, rivals and everyone who accompanied me throughout this journey. I am deeply grateful to my family, my friends and everyone who has been by my side through every game, every win and every loss. Their support has always been essential. I would also like to thank the clubs, selections and teams who believed in me and allowed me to live this dream. I retire with a heart full of gratitude, taking with me indelible memories and the pride of having represented this great sport. Although I stop playing, rugby will always remain a part of my life. Thank you everyone for being part of this incredible journey. »
